The J-Cruise is Shoei’s premium open-face helmet for 2013. This helmet offers an open-air freedom and easy handling you’d expect from an open-face touring helmet.
The J-Cruise is a family member to the Shoei Neotec Modular helmet, and the new Shoei GT-Air full-face helmet. All three models feature a drop down sun visor with a state-of-the-art Shield Retraction lever that handles with ease, even with gloves on. This internal visor fulfills the standards for American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z80.3-2010 standard for non-prescription eyeglasses and is optically correct with no distortion. Both visor and the face shield are 99% protected from harmful UV B & A rays.
The newly designed CJ-2 Pinlock Ready face-shield features a slight contour or “air dam” along the bottom to reduce wind noise and deflect airflow, helping the aerodynamics of the overall helmet.
In an effort to further reduce wind noise, Shoei added removable ears pads as part of the interior lining which also make this helmet commucation system friendly, as well a self-adjusting base plate for the face shield. In addition there is a dual ridged window bead along the top of the face shield to seal out air and water leakage from the top.
Overall, the J-Cruise is compact, stylish and with it’s refined interior provides optimum ventilation. With four shell sizes and interchangeable cheek pads, you’d be sure to get a comfortable, custom fit. The J-Cruise does it all while keeping you safe and connected with the road ahead.
The J-Cruise is offered in sizes XS – 2XL and is available in multiple colors.
